As we continue to grow rapidly, we are seeking an Accountant to join the 10x Team and who will be responsible for the general accounting function, including assisting with monthly close activities, process improvement initiatives, and other aspects of operational accounting including compliance with the annual financial statement audit. We are looking for a detail- and deadline-oriented individual who can be highly successful in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The Accountant will report to the Assistant Controller.

What You Will Be Doing

· Prepare journal entries for month end close. Manage the close calendar and meetings to ensure all tasks are done on time

· Prepare balance sheet reconciliations. Ensure all supporting schedules and account reconciliations are properly completed and documented

· Follow up with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues identified during the reconciliation process

· Prepare flux analysis and present the findings during the close meeting

· Ensure compliance with SOX requirements while performing the above tasks, and actively participate in documenting SOX-compliant processes

· Proactively identify issues and drive continuous improvement by optimizing and automating processes and systems

· Assist with financial and SOX audit-related tasks, including responding to auditor requests and preparing audit schedules

· Provide support for special projects, initiatives, and analyses as needed

Minimum Requirements

· 3+ years of relevant working experience

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Business

· CPA candidate preferred

· Depth in Excel skills and experience with ERP systems

· Ability to work cross functionally with both internal business partners and external auditors / consultants.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Strong analytical skills

· Ability to work independently and within a team environment to achieve results
