About this position

About Credo AI

Credo AI is a venture-backed company on a mission to empower organizations to responsibly build, adopt, procure and use AI at scale. Credo AI has built a pioneering platform for context-driven AI governance, AI risk assessment and compliance (to regulations like the EU AI Act and standards like NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001 etc) to ensure compliant, fair, and auditable development and use of AI. Our goal is to move responsible AI development from an “ethical” choice to an obvious one-by ensuring AI’s benefits are universally accessible while addressing the full spectrum of its risks. We aim to do this both by making it easier for organizations to integrate responsible AI Governance practices into their AI development and by collaborating with regulators/policymakers to set up appropriate ecosystem incentives. Founded in 2020, Credo AI has been recognized as a one of the Most Innovative Companies of 2024 by Fast Company, a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum, named to the CBInsights' AI 100 List and World's Most Promising Startups list, and included in Fast Company’s Next Big Thing in Tech and Intelligent Applications Top 40 by Madrona, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft and Pitchbook.

  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Engineering to ensure consistency across the Credo AI Platform UI.

  5. UX Design: Develop user journeys, flows, and personas, and work alongside user research teams in various testing and research methodologies.

Qualifications

Your resume and portfolio should clearly demonstrate:

  • Experience: 5-8 years in design roles at design boutiques, agencies, and small to medium startups.

  • Advanced Figma Expertise: Demonstrable mastery in crafting and sustaining Figma-based design systems and interactive prototypes. Your portfolio should include examples featuring tokens, components, variants, variables, and libraries.

  • Portfolio Requirement: A robust portfolio showcasing real-world experience in Product Design, design systems, and marketing assets such as websites and slide decks.

  • Iconography & Illustrations: Include examples of system icons and vector illustrations intended for both product use and marketing.

  • Technical Skills & Tools: Proficiency in Figma, Material Design, Figjam, Miro, Whimsical, and Webflow or comparable tools and systems.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: A proven track record of collaboration between Product Design, Engineering, and Product Management

  • Visualization Design: Practical experience designing complex visualizations for libraries like eCharts or D3js.

Nice to have

  • Risk, Governance, & Compliance Experience: Prior exposure to Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) in areas like AI, accessibility, security, and privacy, is very valuable.

  • Design in Code: Capability to create prototypes in code, ideally with React Material-UI.

  • Passion for Responsible AI: A keen interest and understanding of responsible AI and AI governance.

  • Generative AI Experience: Prior experience in generating content through AI and a strong ethical perspective on its usage.
