Primary Purpose and Overall Objective of the Job

This position plays a key role to deliver on the marketing strategy for the Molecular business in bioMérieux India & NM. This is a pan India role that works closely with customer facing teams across the country to deliver on the sales and profitability of the molecular business.

Key Responsibilities

1.Develop and implement a strategic long term and annual business plan and budget that is defensible and achievable.

2.Define and develop a current assessment and dynamic profile of the market.

3.Develop and ensure implementation of a well-defined and actionable marketing plan geared towards achievement of business objectives with monitoring and measurement in place.

4.The plan should include,

•Define, develop and implement an effective market development plan. Help capture met and unmet needs and assist translating these to sustainable value proposition.

•Formulate and implement an action plan to drive installed base consumption.

•Proactively define/implement pricing, positioning and promotion actions required to ensure a profitable business.

•Development and delivery of cost-effective communication tools that support the Sales effort.

•Product training and orientation programs – developed and delivered.

5.Be a strong brand ambassador working to deliver customer acceptance of the value of our products to become a partner of choice – market reputation and relevance.

6.Be the voice of the customer within the Company to enable relevant solutions and positioning.

7.Attain forecast accuracy of >90% to manage inventory costs and prevent customer dissatisfaction due to stock outs.

Educational Qualification

Minimum: B.Sc. / MSc. Lifesciences / Microbiology: MBA (Marketing) Preferred

Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in IVD industry, working with Clinicians /health care professionals and KOLs
