The Opportunity
As Flock rapidly expands into new markets, maintaining full compliance while moving quickly is essential. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Compliance Associate to be an integral part of our operational compliance. In this role, you will work directly with external compliance partners to manage all state and local licensing requirements. You will also collaborate with our Sales, Solution Engineering, and Permitting teams, helping to maintain a proactive process that ensures we are ready to operate in new territories the moment a deal closes. Your work will directly enable Flock to enter new markets faster, reduce operational risk, and support our mission to eliminate crime.
The Skillset
3+ years experience in a compliance, legal operations, or project management role, preferably in a high-growth tech environment.
Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and manage new cross-functional business processes.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms for reporting and process automation.
Experience working with external vendors or compliance firms is a strong plus.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a bias for action.

90 Days at Flock

The First 30 Days
You’ll focus on mastering Flock’s operational compliance landscape.
You will build foundational relationships with our external compliance firms and internal teams like Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Permitting.
You’ll map our existing processes, and present your initial findings on any inefficiencies and opportunities.
The First 60 Days
You’ll transition from analysis to action.
You will design, document, and gain buy-in for a new, proactive compliance workflow that triggers immediately after a new sale is closed.
You will then train the relevant teams and officially launch this new process, beginning to clear our existing compliance backlog.
90 Days & Beyond
You will be executing relentlessly and demonstrating measurable progress.
Your goal is to significantly increase our operational compliance score by managing both new and backlogged territories.
You will launch a real-time dashboard for compliance visibility and establish a rhythm of continuous improvement, solidifying your role as the owner of operational compliance at Flock.
Salary & Equity
In this role, you’ll receive a starting salary between $68,000 and $90,000 as well as Flock Safety Stock Options. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, as well as market indicators. Your recruiter will discuss this in-depth with you during our first chat.
