We are looking for a Test & Validation Engineer to confirm product performance through systematic methods. Responsibilities include developing practical test plans, building reliable vehicle test setups, and generating defensible data to inform design decisions. The engineer works with subsystem owners to define acceptance criteria, reproduce issues, and drive closure. Emphasis is on converting ambiguity into repeatable test procedures and clear, concise reporting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test plans aligned to program gates and compliance needs.
- Set up and run basic regression tests and/or instrument vehicles for field testing.
- Analyze results, write clear reports, and track defects to closure with engineering owners.
- Coordinate logistics and safety for tests; ensure repeatable procedures.
Experiential Background
- BS in Mechanical/Electrical/Automotive Engineering or similar.
- 5+ years of experience with vehicle testing, or automated test frameworks.
- Proficiency with data acquisition and analysis; clear technical writing.
- Ability to work hands-on around vehicles and test equipment.
