Key Responsibilities:

Service Delivery: Collaborate with teams such as Accounting and Finance departments to resolve all general ledger interface and finance-related queries raised via ServiceNow across all countries. Fulfill periodic and ad-hoc reporting requests for the management team and internal customers. Manage the inventory of requested reports, detailing the recipients and frequency to ensure accurate and timely distribution. Identify inefficiencies to minimize ticket intake and enhance the service delivery process.

Business Process Support: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers and key stakeholders for effective communication and collaboration. Obtain a thorough end-to-end understanding of payroll processes, general ledger entries, and factors impacting GL postings. Reconcile any imbalances in funding for tax invoices from Payroll vendors and discrepancies in pay variances. Use process insights to identify improvement opportunities that simplify operations.

Documentation and Compliance: Oversee the management and documentation of all relevant Local Work Instructions (LWI) and Knowledge Base (KB) entries to ensure compliance and accessibility. Continuously enhance technical knowledge and stay informed about the latest best practices in payroll reporting and reconciliation.

Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison with BMS Accounting to ensure alignment and clear communication. Collaborate with PS Functional Leads, HR Business Partners, Finance Leads, payroll vendors, and Corporate Tax to support stakeholder needs. Engage actively to understand their challenges and work towards solutions that streamline processes and improve effectiveness.

Qualifications and Experience

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll reporting, Account reconciliation experience or equivalent.

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong proficiency in HCM and payroll systems such as Workday and SAP, specifically ADP GlobalView.
  • Knowledge of Payroll reporting and SpinifexIT reporting tool (a plus).
  • Familiarity with ADP Smart Compliance and business intelligence tools or data visualization platforms (a plus).

Analytical and Reporting Skills:

  • Advanced quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret, analyze, and clearly report on data.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and logical thinking when handling payroll and financial data.

Organizational and Process Management:

  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Skilled in assessing and resolving complex issues quickly and effectively.

Communication and Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis payroll reports and data insights.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with experience collaborating across cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
  • Ability to successfully manage stakeholder expectations and balance diverse needs.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong commitment to confidentiality and professional integrity.
