Job Summary:

As an Order to Cash (O2C) Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the entire order to cash process to ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders, invoicing, cash application, and collections for the markets of Hong Kong and Taiwan. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, customers, and finance, to provide financial expertise, and improve cash flow. This position reports directly to the Taiwan Finance Lead and has a dotted line reporting to the Hong Kong Finance Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Processing: Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer orders in the ERP system. Verify order details, pricing, terms, and conditions, manage any exceptions or discrepancies, and collaborate with Hong Kong and Taiwan distributors.
  • Invoicing: Generate and distribute customer invoices based on sales orders. Ensure invoices comply with company policies and are aligned with customer agreements.
  • Cash Application: Accurately apply customer payments to invoices in the accounting system. Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies or deductions.
  • Collections: Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up with customers on overdue balances. Collaborate with the collections team to resolve payment issues promptly.
  • Reporting: Prepare and analyze reports related to order to cash metrics, such as DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), aging reports, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the order to cash cycle. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities within the O2C process comply with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Customer Interaction: Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure a clear understanding of their account status and to address any inquiries or disputes.
  • Ad Hoc : Take initiative on special OTC projects to improve processes and support business goals or any other tasks assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in order to cash processes, accounts receivable, and cash management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in English is required, with a strong emphasis on professional/business communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with SAP systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certification such as CPA or CMA.
  • Experience in a similar industry or multinational company.
