As the Engineering Manager in Growth, you will lead two small and highly collaborative teams of engineers, partnering closely with Product, Design, and Data Science to define technical strategy and drive delivery across dynamic workstreams. You will serve as both a technical leader and people manager, helping your teams to solve complex problems, architect scalable solutions, and deliver seamless user experiences. While this is a leadership role, you will maintain hands-on technical involvement, particularly in design reviews, technical direction, and high-priority coding when needed.

How You Will Make a Difference:

  • Lead and manage two teams of 3 engineers each, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and career development.

  • Define and execute technical strategy in partnership with Product and Design leads.

  • Drive delivery of impactful experiments, including onboarding workflows and broader product-led growth features.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Data Science to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Ensure the teams deliver high-quality, maintainable code and evolves our systems to support scalability and performance.

  • Contribute technically through design reviews, architecture discussions, and occasional hands-on development.

Who You Are:

  • Experienced engineering leader with a proven track record as a player-coach.

  • Strong fullstack engineering background with an emphasis on front-end development.

  • Deep hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend engineering best practices.

  • Comfortable working with backend systems using Python or Node.

  • Skilled in driving technical direction, managing ambiguity, and leading dynamic product-focused teams.

  • Collaborative, communicative, and motivated by delivering customer value.

  • Passionate about partnering closely with Product and Design to solve user problems and improve adoption.

  • Experienced in building systems that respond to real-time data and customer behavior.

Our salary range reflects the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all our US locations. The base salary offered for this position is determined by several factors, including the applicant’s job-related skills, relevant experience, education or training, and work location.

In addition to base salary, our total compensation package may include participation in the company’s annual cash bonus plan, variable compensation (OTE) for sales and customer success roles, equity, sign-on payments, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility.
