About the Role
Lyra Health is looking for Regional Director of Strategic Alliance to strategically develop and maintain relationships with benefits consulting and brokerage firms.
As part of a mission centric organization, this role serves as a leader focused on generating, qualifying and nurturing relationships with alliance channels, including benefit consulting firms.
Ultimately, you will help drive growth as an integral part of a team, bringing life-changing mental health to millions of members.
**Role requires that you live in our central territory - Chicago or Minneapolis preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic development and growth of Lyra’s relationship with benefit consulting and brokerage firms
  • Develop and nurture key relationships at benefit consulting firms, across a matrix of roles and areas of expertise
  • Acts as the face of Lyra within the consulting community, proactively addressing needs and identifying and developing new opportunities from benefit consultants
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including marketing, events, business development, product, client success, legal etc to deliver on Go-To-Market goals
  • Host or support various educational meetings, capabilities presentations and networking events as needed
  • Maintain a high level of comprehension of the market as well as competitive intelligence including, employer benefit consultant/broker needs, market trends, industry challenges, major players, relevant products and technologies

Experience:

  • 8+ years experience specifically in the employee benefits industry as a benefits consultant/broker or buyer or related vendor role
  • Deep and strong industry relationships and network of consultants and brokers
  • Strong project management skills, with an ability and desire to be effective within a fast-paced, fluid environment often with competing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and listening skills, with a natural consultative style
  • The ability to collaborate, communicate and build rapport at all levels within the organization
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience advising, presenting to and persuading senior corporate personnel
  • Enthusiasm for working collaboratively with highly-talented professionals
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA)
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently
