About the Role
The Learning and Organisational Development Coordinator provides administrative, operational, and logistical support to ensure the smooth execution of learning interventions and organizational development (OD) initiatives. This role acts as a primary operational point of contact for service inquiries, manages training bookings, maintains accurate system records, and coordinates communication among internal teams, clients, and external facilitators.
Location: Hybrid, South Africa.
Hours: Standard Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm - typically a 5-day, 8 hours/day role.
Flexibility: Must be flexible to attend meetings outside standard local working hours to accommodate global clients and teams on occasion.
WiFi: While working off-site/remotely, the individual is expected to have reliable backup power supply and a strong, stable Wi-Fi connection as these are essential requirements for effectively performing in a remote capacity.
Secure appropriate and cost-effective resources for L&D events within required timelines.
Provide administrative support to the Global L&D department, ensuring smooth execution of training logistics.
Accurately record event bookings, financial processing, and resource tracking in Lyra International systems.
Maintain clear and professional correspondence with clients, global teams, and sales consultants.
Administer client access rights to Lyra International Learning Systems where applicable.
Provide basic technical support for clients utilizing Lyra International L&D platforms.
Handle end-to-end scheduling and logistics for all booked Learning and OD sessions.
Manage and process daily training requests, ensuring prompt scheduling within required turnaround times.
Support the operational rollout and implementation of learning services across relevant tools and platforms.
Facilitate all session-related communication between clients, internal consultants, and external affiliate facilitators.
Monitor and manage the central Learning mailbox, addressing inquiries and supplying requested resources.
Foster positive collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and external partners.
Accurately maintain and update client, session, and operational data in internal capture systems (e.g., Genesis).
Apply financial acumen to assist with affiliate billing, invoice processing, and coordination with finance teams.
Prepare and submit accurate operational tracking reports regarding session volumes, metrics, and delivery status.
Monitor service delivery to ensure alignment with quality benchmarks and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Experience: 2–3 years in an administrative or operational coordination role. Prior experience or knowledge in Employee Wellbeing / Employee Assistance Programs (EAP/EWP) is advantageous.

Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and Google Workspace tools.
Experience navigating internal databases or information capture systems.
