ModMed is hiring a driven Sales Operations Consultant to join our positive, passionate, and high-performing sales team. The Sales Operations Consultant works closely with the various Sales teams to develop, plan, and implement the company’s sales strategies. This person works to ensure the needs of the sales force are met providing a sales environment that enhances the sales process to help meet customer expectations.
As part of a larger operations team, the Sales Operations Consultant provides ad-hoc support through programs/channels built to aid the sales organization in the sales process. This individual is responsible for accurate, timely, and consistent sales quotes, contract and customer kick-off processes for existing customers, sometimes working with high-profile accounts. This involves scoping purchases appropriately for successful order execution and inputting and validating data in SFDC and CPQ. This role requires someone with an aggressive drive for developing and implementing business strategies and suggesting areas for improvement. This role also requires someone who maintains a sense of urgency in answering customer questions and requests through email, voice messaging, or virtual meetings.

Your Role:
- Manages various sales projects and develops new processes, providing project updates, and managing expectations regarding progress and eventual success.
- Help drive sales growth by identifying and providing areas for expansion, automation, and process improvement.
- Provide guidance on accurate, timely, and consistent sales quotes, including—but not limited to—generating quotes for provider upsell, set-up fees, and MMPay for net-new deals and upsell deals.
- Reconcile customer accounts prior to client expansion team to assist with replacement order forms/renewal/acquisition process. Including enterprise customers with 100+ contracts in our GI Enterprise segment.
- Work as a liaison between sales and operations departments (finance, operations, AR, and deal desk) to correct and audit monthly bookings.
- Assess and provide recommendations regarding territory planning (tactical “Stop and Knock” planning and execution plans), validation, and account targets through Total Attainable Market (TAM) analysis.
- Manage the RFP process, including the development of accurate and timely responses and monitoring to ensure that all steps are effectively completed.
- Build out dashboards and reports, such as TAM, Wins, Losses, etc., for Regional Sales Managers, National Sales Managers, Sales Directors, and the VP of Sales.
- Responsible for UAT and QA for updated processes and procedures.
- Help develop and implement training when onboarding new hires.
- Assess and implement sales tools to facilitate the sales process and maintain existing technologies and systems.
- Ensure the consistent performance and uptime of the systems and technologies used by the company.
- Enablement and process generation for acquisition partners to intertwine with current processes.
- Support sales, customer success, account management and order management of the bookings process.
- Provides Tier 2 support for customer data reconciliation project.
- Effective list generation, tracking, and management.
- Work with Sales on Best Practices, SFDC, ABM, CPQ, and prospect reporting.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Operations, or similar preferred.
- 1-3 years experience in an Account Management, Sales Operation, or other operations role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate and mediate conflict.
- Detailed-oriented and organized.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of the customer success team.
- Professional, patient, and balanced approach to handling tasks of varying priority and stress levels.
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to take initiative with little direction, proactive and willing to learn.
- Empathetic communicator with a consultative approach - able to see things from another person’s point of view.
- Ability to multi-task and shift focus/priorities on the fly in a fast-paced environment.
- People skills - you must be comfortable on the phone and able to engage in/control difficult discussions while maintaining professional composure.
- Motivated - we are a growing and ever-changing organization that is transforming how healthcare information is created, consumed and utilized to increase practice efficiency and improve patient outcomes.
- Curious Tinkerer - Constantly curious about why something works the way it does or why we do things one way.
- A deep understanding of CRM and business processes, in addition to technical capabilities.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce and CPQ is a plus.
