ModMed is hiring a driven Technical Presales Solutions Consultant (internally referred to as Solutions Engineer, Technical") to join our positive, passionate, and high-performing Presales team. The Technical Solutions Engineer is responsible for assessing customer security, data transfer, and integration needs with the goal of developing solutions to meet those needs. You'll provide in-depth security, technical, and integration solution advice and demo support during pre-sales discussions. In addition, the Technical SE prepares and delivers detailed technical presentations for prospective customers in support of ModMed revenue goals.
Your Role:
- Provide sales support by understanding business requirements and client needs to recommend technical solutions.
- Conduct customer presentations and technical discussions as part of the pre-sales demo process.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Business Development, Client Services Operations, and Client Services Tech Services to discuss the customer's security, integration, data migration, and interface needs.
- Supports the Senior SE, Technical SME in cross-departmental collaboration and content creation for all Mod Med Interfaces, including Synapps, custom interfaces and standard interfaces.
- Coordinate RFP submissions with the RFP Manager and assist in keeping the Lupio database updated.
- Stay abreast of healthcare software, IT, and industry standards and regulating authorities.
- Educate presales and sales teams on the value of integrations and release timelines.
- Serve as a technical liaison with outside vendors for interfaces (participate/manage interface scope discussions).
- Assist with creating marketing material around the value of our various integrations.
Skills & Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of technical experience within the healthcare industry, with a strong knowledge of data integrations, HL7, FHIR, API's, 21st Century Cures Act, and industry standards for patient information sharing.
- EMR/Healthcare, Practice Management, RCM, or Software sales experience is a plus.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 10%.
- Strong interest in healthcare technology sales.
- Polished presentation and communication skills with an ability to distill complex technical terms into consumable information.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and manage time effectively.
