ModMed is seeking a Director of National Sales to lead key strategic sales teams and develop a comprehensive sales strategy, operational plans, and processes aimed at driving revenue growth and achieving financial objectives within specific medical specialties. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with sales representatives to generate high-quality leads and support their teams in meeting and exceeding sales targets. Furthermore, this role involves analyzing the business environment, understanding competitors, and working with internal stakeholders to communicate market needs and enhance our go-to-market programs.
Your Role:
- Lead and develop a group of regional sales managers to achieve their bookings goals through coaching and mentorship.
- Complete market research and analyze results to adjust sales and marketing strategy for maximum success.
- Use available data to accurately forecast sales and set appropriate performance goals.
- Create and implement strategic sales and marketing plans that successfully achieve business objectives.
- Monitor competitors' offerings,and products, including relevant sales and marketing data.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent experience, Master’s degree preferred.
- 8+ of years of experience in successfully leading a sales team in a SaaS company
- Experience with SaaS EMR products; relevant medical sales experience a plus.
- Previous experience working in a high growth technology industry a plus.
- Previous success in a senior sales role with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed reenue targets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present strategy and results to staff members at every level of the organization.
- Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Demonstrated skill in negotiating and closing on critical sales contracts.
- Ability to travel up domestically ~30%.
