Job Description Summary:
ModMed is hiring a driven Specialty Marketing Manager to join our positive, passionate, and high-performing Marketing team and lead the development, execution, and optimization of marketing strategies for our Dermatology and Plastic Surgery specialty segments. This is an exciting opportunity to translate specialty-specific market insights into scalable revenue outcomes within a fast-paced Healthcare IT company that is truly modernizing medicine.
Your Role:
Develop and own specialty segment strategies, segmentation models, and prioritized growth plans.
Create specialty-specific messaging frameworks, segment narratives, and value propositions to ensure resonance with provider audiences.
Demonstrate the ability to shift from 1-on-1 sales conversations to 1-to-many marketing motions, scaling sales successes into broad, specialty-wide campaigns.
Apply structured thinking to organize ambiguous specialty insights into clear, logical GTM plans that focus on revenue outcomes.
Lead the identification and authoring of high-level thought leadership that addresses the specific "pain points" unique to the specialty.
Create specialty-specific messaging frameworks, segment narratives, and value propositions.
Build and execute specialty-level campaigns designed to generate new pipeline and expand existing accounts.
Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to improve specialty selling confidence, pipeline acceleration, and win rates.
Develop specialty-specific customer proof points, case studies, and reference programs to support the buyer journey.
Track and measure specialty campaign performance and revenue impact to continuously refine marketing motions.
Lead complex communications across Sales, Product, and Executive leadership to align on GTM strategy.
Skills & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree (MBA, MPH, or MS) preferred.
4+ years of professional B2B marketing experience within Healthcare Tech, or MedTech, with a proven track record of success in mid-sized to large organizations (preferably $400M+ revenue or PE-backed) where you have managed product or solutions marketing at a national or global scale.
Deep familiarity with the Dermatology and Plastic Surgery or the medical specialty HCIT market
Strong understanding of how specialty marketing impacts the "bottom line," including experience tracking funnel conversion and segment-specific revenue impact.
Ability to produce high-quality, specialty-specific content; a writing sample will be required as part of the interview process.
Proven experience building segment, ICP, or specialty-specific GTM strategies.
Experience with CRM and Marketing Automation (Salesforce, HubSpot/Marketo) and GTM analytics/intent platforms (6sense).
Ability to influence executive stakeholders without direct authority and align multiple business units on a unified specialty narrative.
