Job Description Summary:

About the Role:

The IT Support Specialist provides high-level, complex IT support for a global workforce across a multi-platform enterprise environment. This role acts as a primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Digital Employee Experience, proactively managing identity access through Okta and ensuring the operational health of global SaaS applications and office technology.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Multi-Platform Endpoint Support: Perform Level 1 and Level 2 troubleshooting for Windows, macOS, and AWS Workspaces to guarantee global uptime and seamless productivity.

  • AV & Office Infrastructure: Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize high-density conference room Audio/Visual (AV) systems and onsite office networking, including WiFi and printers.

  • Documentation & Process Improvement: Create and maintain comprehensive Knowledge Base (KB) articles for Tier 1 support teams and end-users, driving a culture of self-service resolution and operational efficiency.

  • Identity & Access Operations: Manage the complete user lifecycle within Okta and Active Directory, ensuring accurate group membership and strict adherence to enterprise security baselines for application access.

  • SaaS & Collaboration Administration: Administer and support core corporate productivity tools (Google Workspace, Slack, etc) and rapidly resolve complex collaboration bottlenecks.

Scope, Impact & Decision Making:

  • Global Communication: Communicate globally across multiple enterprise sub-business units and countries to disseminate critical IT information internally.

  • Problem Solving: Navigate a mix of well-defined processes and the need to invent new approaches to solve novel, complex IT support challenges.

  • Authority & Strategy: Hold final authority over the resolution of technical incidents and the tactical execution of office hardware deployments.

  • Advisory: Make high-stakes, strategic recommendations to IT leadership regarding hardware standards, AV tool selection, and continuous process improvements for the global IT Support organization.

Must-Have Qualifications (Minimum Requirements):

  • Education: Associate's degree in Information Technology (IT) or Computer Science (CS).

  • Experience: 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in a high-growth, modern IT Support environment.

  • Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with Okta, Google Workspace, and AWS Workspaces.

  • Certifications: Google IT Support Certificate, CompTIA Security+, Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), or Okta Certified Professional.

Good-to-Have Qualifications (Preferred):

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT) or Computer Science (CS).

  • Experience: 4 to 6 years of experience in high-growth, modern IT Support.

  • Advanced Skills: Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions like Jamf and Intune, as well as scripting capabilities using Python or Bash.

  • Advanced Certifications: ITIL v4 Foundation/Specialist or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
