Job Description Summary:
The Associate Account Executive (Associate AE) plays a critical role in supporting revenue growth and account development. This role will be aligned to approximately three Account Executives (AEs), working collaboratively to maximize account coverage and pipeline generation. The Associate AE will focus on small transactional sales, inbound lead management, outbound pipeline development, account data hygiene, and driving opportunities for overlay solutions to ensure a consistent flow of qualified opportunities.
Role & Responsibilities:
Manage and close smaller transactional opportunities.
Qualify and convert inbound leads into sales opportunities through timely follow-up and discovery.
Conduct outbound prospecting to generate new pipeline across assigned territories.
Maintain accurate CRM/account data to support forecasting and territory planning.
Partner with Account Executives to identify whitespace and expansion opportunities.
Collaborate with overlay teams (e.g., Pay, BOOST, Labs, RCM) to uncover and advance cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
Participate in account strategy sessions and provide reporting on pipeline, transactional sales, and overlay contribution.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
1-3 plus years of experience working in a sales environment (software sales a plus.)
Experience using the following tools is a plus: CRM, EHR, Salesforce, SalesLoft, Outreach, Zoom Info, G-Suite/Mac
A strong interest in healthcare and developing a career in sales
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with a professional, consultative approach.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to overcome objections and think on your feet
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Flexible and adaptable with an ability to receive and learn from feedback
Exhibits grit: stick with things until finished, even in the face of adversity, with an ability to bounce back from failure or disappointment
Business acumen and customer orientation: exhibits knowledge of products and customer profiles through proactive research
Demonstrated successful track record of achieving goals
Ability to take initiative, multitask, organize, prioritize and manage time effectively
