Join the Team Modernizing Medicine

At ModMed, we’re not just building software—we’re reimagining the healthcare experience. Founded in 2010 by a practicing physician and a successful tech entrepreneur, we took a radically different approach: we hired doctors and taught them how to code. This "for doctors, by doctors" philosophy has allowed us to create an AI-enabled, specialty-specific cloud platform that places patients at the center of care.

A Culture of Excellence

When you join ModMed, you’re joining an award-winning team recognized for innovation and employee satisfaction. From our global headquarters in Boca Raton Florida, and extensive employee base in Hyderabad India, we are a team of 4,500+ passionate problem-solvers on a mission to increase medical practice success and improve patient outcomes:

  • Consistently ranked as a Top Place to Work

  • 2025 Globee Business Awards: Gold Globee for “Technology Team of the Year”

  • 2025 Black Book Awards: Ranked #1 EHR in 11 Specialties

  • Florida Venture Forum: Venture-Backed Company of the Year

We are growing fast, thinking big, and we are just getting started.

Ready to modernize medicine with us?

Job Description Summary:

The Opportunity

As the Manager of IT Systems, you will step into a newly created, dynamic role designed to serve as a primary leadership layer for our growing India IT presence. You will be an empathetic people manager and an all-rounder technical expert who bridges the gap between daily execution and strategic forethought. Balancing cutting-edge modern IT best practices (like applied AI and IaC) with collaborative global teamwork, you will ensure our infrastructure scales seamlessly alongside the business.

What You’ll Do (Your Impact)

  • Innovate Boldly & Hands-On (25%): Act as the technical escalation point and deploy modern IT practices, including applied AI, scripting, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). You will configure and manage our multi-cloud environment (AWS/GCP), identity systems (Okta, AD), and identity-driven networks.

  • Think Big on Strategic Projects (20%): Flawlessly execute critical, high-impact IT initiatives—from local office network build-outs to global software rollouts—ensuring they land strictly on time and within budget.

  • Protect the Practice (20%): Maintain immaculate documentation (runbooks, network diagrams). You will lead global standard compliance audits (HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOC) and enforce robust disaster recovery protocols to guarantee maximum service availability.

  • Create Internal Customer Delight (10%): Champion a proactive, frictionless IT culture for ModMed’s workforce. Monitor queues, resolve SLA breaches, and enforce monitoring frameworks to guarantee 99.99% uptime for core services.
