About the role:
Our finance team in Sofia, Bulgaria is growing, and we want to appoint a Credit Analyst to join our Credit Center of Excellence (CoE) team. The Credit Analyst will support the Credit Analysis Manager in performing customer credit analyses for the Finance Credit CoE and performing the essential job duties required. Research and examine credit risks by assessing credit history and performing credit checks on new and existing accounts, but not limited to the following:
Perform various analyses, including thorough reviews of financial statements and preparation of reports.
Make credit term recommendations based on analyses and corporate guidelines to mitigate risk of loss.
Establish and enforce best practices and process for data analysis across the organization.
Proactively identify areas to improve credit operation efficiency and initiate projects to achieve such improvements.
Support manager to provide status of metrics.
Support of RCM (Revenue Cycle Management) with collection efforts when assigned, including but not limited to maintaining assigned aging reports, placing collections calls on delinquent accounts and employing appropriate follow-up methods to ensure past due balances are resolved in a timely manner.

Education / Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree is required
Master’s degree is a plus
Studies related to Accounting, Business or Finance is a plus
Knowledge of financial statement analysis, basic accounting techniques, and financial principles used in analyzing and interpreting the working capital impact of decisions regarding credit risk
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
Proficient in Salesforce.com
Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills with ability to multi-task
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with commercial and functional partners, external counterparties and various levels of management.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience – financial analysis, credit and collections experience preferred
Professional experience in pharmaceutical / biotechnology / healthcare / life sciences industry is a plus
