IT Manager - Voice Operations Services
Personal Genome Diagnostics
Reporting to the Director of IT Voice and Collaboration Services, the qualified candidate will manage corporate telecom professionals with Voice Services support including advanced telecom solutions, legacy PBX support and Cisco UC/UCCE infrastructure. The candidate will provide suitable and cost-effective support and maintain voice availability that continues the IT transformational journey of visibility and transparency of the Voice services for our business stakeholders.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of nationwide PBX environment including monitoring and management.
- Contribute to the definition, identification, testing, and selection of analytical tools to measure Voice traffic utilization, performance modeling, and trending.
- Assist with the evaluation, development, testing, and installation of voice communications servicing software.
- Provide support for corporate voice equipment configuration and installation needs, including fault localization and remediation for voice circuit failures
- Provide support to remote corporate installations for PBX performance concerns.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field is required. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in telecom and voice services, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role, overseeing enterprise-level voice infrastructure (e.g., Cisco UC/UCCE, legacy PBX systems).
- Qualified candidates will have work experience with Cisco, Avaya, Mitel or other legacy voice infrastructure and premise wiring.
- Minimum of CCNA Certification with 5 years’ experience or at least 8 years’ experience with Cisco UC Voice Solutions or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
