About Team:
Global Medical Affairs comprises of teams in Singapore, China, Geneva, and USA. Medical Affairs (MA) members provide Medical consultation serving Pharma clients and providing best in class laboratory medicine services for patients worldwide. MA interprets and sign out specific testing. MA acts as advisors for the different disciplines in the Laboratory, reviewing and approving method validations, reference ranges, SOPs, and new assay activities. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic student for an internship position in the Singapore Team.
Internship Assignment Summary:
New Test Feasibility (NTF) is a process chaperoned by MA team to evaluate the operational feasibility and business viability of a new test for clinical trial testing. NTF is submitted by Sales/Business Developer, Project Managers, and Client Service Managers on behalf of biopharmaceutic clients. This internship program aims to help unlock valuable insights from client demands and deliver impactful recommendations for decision-making.
Gather NTF data from various sources and categorize the data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Use analytical and statistical tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI) to identify patterns and trends in data.
Analyse the trends to understand correlations and insights of new tests with new drug targets/classes.
Create interactive dashboards such as Power BI, reports, and visualizations.
Provide data-driven, actional recommendations for decision-making for new assay validations.
Regularly provide updates of progress, challenges, potential roadblocks, innovative ideas, etc.
Adhere to data privacy regulations and company policies.
Liaison between pathologist, scientist, laboratory technologist on lab testing related issues.
Assist pathologists as required and compile pathology diagnostic guidelines for reference.
Education/Qualifications/Skills:
Job is performed in an administrative environment. The candidate will need to be comfortable working at office or remotely from home and across different time zones.
Able to commit for a minimum of 9 months; a 12-month is desirable.
The candidate may need to travel to another designated country for a short duration of time, e.g. 6 months for overseas training and for the completion of assigned project(s).

Skillsets needed:
Able to organize data and documents effectively.
Experience in data analytics tools, modelling and techniques to extract, analyze and visualize large amount of data.
SalesForce experiences is a plus. So is Power BI. If needed, training is provided.
Good communication skills when interacting with our Medical Affairs and Laboratory teams.
Have the “can-do” and proactive mindset when investigating data.
Education: Enrolled in Universities (BSc) within healthcare/biomedical field.
