Labcorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their Specimen Accessioning team in Boise, ID .The Specimen Processing Support Services Team Lead will be Responsible for all AP (Including Dianon) and clinical accessioning work, training of new staff, and resource for local accessioning team.
Schedule: M-F 11am-8pm
Overtime Required: As business requires.
• Assist in the supervision of the day to day operations of the Department Name department
• Help lead the team in their daily processes and procedures
• Assist with preparation of laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Oversee routing of specimens to their respective prep areas
• Encourage process improvements and best practices
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracy
• Resolve any production errors as requested by management
• Research and resolve any production errors while escalating when necessary
• Engage in continuous process and service level improvements
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracy
• Responsible for enforcing and managing policies and procedures
• Perform administrative duties as needed
Minimum Qualification:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 3 years of experience or more
Preferred Qualifications:
• Current or prior Labcorp experience
• Associates degree or higher
• 3 years’ or more of experience in a medical/clinical laboratory experience
Additional Job Standards
• Familiarity with laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
• High level of attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make decisions in a fast paced environment
• Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position
