The main role of the assistant is to support the IMS admin with all routine tasks in the IMS. This work involves:

- creation of repositories, creation of user accounts, granting access to the appropriate users,

- Supporting lab operations with their requests (request for access, submit support tickets)

- Creation of transfer manuscripts

- Communicating with users

- Verifying entered metadata with database

- Organize images into repositories
