Labcorp is seeking an Applications Support Analyst I to join our team!

Work Schedule: This is a full‑time, exempt (salaried) position assigned to a Rotational shift schedule, with standard business hours of Monday through Friday in your local time zone. Business needs may occasionally require flexibility in work hours, including earlier, later, or additional hours, with reasonable notice provided when possible.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and resolve basic application incidents and service requests following established procedures

  • Working with cross functional team (SME, AA, Vendors) on projects and issue resolution.

Technical Oversight

  • Document incidents thoroughly in ITSM tools with clear resolution steps

  • Escalate complex issues appropriately with relevant diagnostic information

  • Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) and runbooks

  • Participate in knowledge base creation and updates

  • Assist with system monitoring and alert response

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience.

  • 3 or more years of experience in applications support, Subject Matter Expert, or administration

  • 2 or more years of IT support experience in (incident, request, problem)

  • 2 or more years of experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow or equivalent)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic troubleshooting skills

  • Fundamental understanding of operating systems and application environments

  • Basic SQL knowledge (ability to run simple queries

  • Technical expertise – power shell scripts trouble – System admin

  • Windows OS

  • Service now experience – ticking tool & monitoring tool experience.

  • DB – oracle and

  • SQL Networking concepts

  • PowerShell, Batch

  • Good to have - Splunk

Certifications:

  • ITIL Foundation certification preferred

Additional Job Standards

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Exposure to monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.)

  • Basic understanding of APIs (REST, HTTP, etc )

  • Basic skills in wring scripts (PowerShell, Batch)

  • Strong documentation and communication skills

  • Exposure to process improvements

  • Exposure to design, architecture decisions and security reviews

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment/Remote (Hybrid).

About the Role:

  • Applications Support Analyst-I role is critical for first-line support, handling routine issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

  • This is a L1/L1.5 Production/Application Support Engineer who can support enterprise applications, troubleshoot issues, work on incidents, and coordinate with infrastructure and application teams.
