Production Operations Engineer

Role Overview
The Production Operations Engineer is a critical member of SafeRide Health’s IT Infrastructure Team. This role will drive the implementation, configuration, optimization, and maintenance of our production systems that support non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) for vulnerable populations. From account provisioning and secure server file transfers to eligibility automation and platform monitoring, you will enable successful onboarding and long-term technical reliability for our healthcare partners.
As SafeRide continues to expand its partnerships and technical footprint, you’ll act as a key technology liaison—designing and supporting scalable solutions that bridge our platform with payer systems and operational workflows. This role sits at the intersection of implementation, systems administration, and continuous improvement, requiring a blend of technical expertise, operational rigor, and cross-functional collaboration. Primary Responsibilities
- Platform configuration and deployment for new client implementations
- Venue mapping, API integration, and eligibility file automation
- Account design, setup, and administration
- Production monitoring, alerting, and incident response
- Salesforce platform ownership and support
- Operational process improvement and automation
- Coordination with call center systems (e.g., NICE inContact, Amazon Connect)
- Documentation of SOPs and system-level knowledge
- Collaboration with engineering, growth, and support teams
Required Skills & Experience
Candidates should have 3-5 years of relevant technical experience, including demonstrated ownership of 1-2 core systems such as Salesforce, secure file automation, platform configuration, or production monitoring workflows.
- Degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience in project management principles and tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Familiarity with Agile environments and methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Hands-on experience with secure server environments (sFTP)
- Salesforce administration and automation expertise
- ITSM ticket management (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow)
- Platform configuration in a dynamic, rules-based system
- Monitoring and alerting best practices for SaaS applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, health plans, or health tech platforms
- Exposure to AWS, especially Amazon Connect
- ETL pipeline understanding and scripting (e.g., Python)
- Knowledge of Azure administration
- NICE inContact or other call center tech experience
- Familiarity with site reliability engineering (SRE) practices
- Dashboarding with QuickSight or similar tools
- Proven ability to manage production issues and escalations
