About the Role As a Junior Account Executive at SafeRide Health, you will support the sales team in driving new business development and contributing to revenue growth within our targeted accounts and territories, with a specialized focus on Healthcare Payers. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and working closely with a Senior Account Executive and RFP Manager in pod, you will gain exposure to the healthcare payer landscape while building foundational skills in business development, relationship management, and sales strategy. You will support efforts to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders across government programs and managed care. Job Responsibilities •Assist with pipeline development by supporting account research, target account identification, and initial prospect outreach efforts. Contribute to building a strong Healthcare Payer pipeline in Medicare and Medicaid under the guidance of senior team members.
•Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities alongside senior sales leaders to observe, learn, and begin establishing early professional connections.
•Support relationship-building efforts within assigned states and accounts by scheduling meetings, preparing presentation materials, and driving follow-up communications.
•Collaborate with the RFP Management team by coordinating materials, tracking deadlines, and contributing to sales-relevant portions of proposals where appropriate.
•Work closely with account management teams to support smooth transitions of closed deals into implementation and ongoing account management, helping ensure client satisfaction and retention.
•Help maintain and improve sales processes by keeping HubSpot CRM data accurate and up to date, tracking sales activities, and learning to leverage tools and systems effectively.
•Engage in cross-functional collaboration with marketing, product, network, and operations teams to ensure alignment of strategies and consistent client messaging.
•Commit to continuous growth and learning by shadowing senior team members and developing a strong understanding of SafeRide Health’s solutions and the healthcare payer ecosystem.
•Continuously contribute to refining the sales cycle process, utilizing tools and strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall effectiveness.
Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities including advanced Excel data analysis & manipulation
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a relentless drive to achieve and exceed goals
• Willingness to work in partnership with a Senior Account Executive, learning to develop and execute complex sales strategies
• Highly organized, follows a rigorous and structured sales process and documentation
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% for both internal and external needs
• Experience selling solutions to Health Plans/Payers, with a strong understanding of the healthcare industry and its unique challenges
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
• Proficiency in CRM software (HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite
• 3+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management, or Management Consulting.
• 1+ years of experience selling to Healthcare Payers.
• NEMT experience is a plus
