As an Associate Resource Delivery Manager (ARDM) at Snowflake, you will play a critical role in enabling the successful execution of Professional Services engagements across the EMEA region. This position works in direct partnership with, and in support of, the EMEA Resource Delivery Manager to manage the complex supply and demand of our world-class consulting talent.
Your primary responsibility is to optimize resource allocation, ensuring that we staff engagements with the right skills at the right time. You will balance key organizational goals, including achieving target billable utilization, ensuring quality of delivery, and supporting employee development. This role demands exceptional organization, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving to resolve competing priorities across a fast-paced, multi-country environment.
This is a fully remote role and can be based in any major country across the EMEA region.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Working closely with the EMEA Resource Delivery Manager, Practice Directors, Practice Managers, and Services Delivery Managers, you will:
Own the Scheduling Process: Act as the operational owner for all scheduling, assignments, and confirmation of resources for Professional Services projects.
Drive Demand Management: Engage in regular discussions with Professional Services leadership to capture resource demand, understand project requirements, and make data-driven staffing recommendations based on skills, geography, and availability.
Facilitate Key Decisions: Lead and facilitate weekly resource management meetings, guiding stakeholders to consensus, solving complex scheduling problems, and resolving competing priority conflicts.
Maintain Data Integrity: Ensure resource schedules are accurately maintained and up-to-date within the Professional Services Automation (PSA) system of record, maintaining the single source of truth.
Manage Talent Mobility: Coordinate the collaboration process for borrowing and lending resources between different regions and countries, ensuring optimal global coverage.
Proactive Reporting & Mitigation: Identify potential utilization issues (both over- and under-utilization) early, develop, and distribute monitoring reports to management, and work with leadership to implement timely corrective action plans.
Strategic Alignment: Assist in driving the Professional Services organization to meet strategic goals for billable utilization, customer satisfaction, and quality of delivery.
Develop Best Practices: Proactively analyze resourcing data and provide recommendations for continuous improvement relating to services delivery and the resource management process and drive adoption of these best practices across the organization.
Support Onboarding: Assist with the development and execution of effective ramp-up plans for new Professional Services hires.
OUR IDEAL ASSOCIATE RESOURCE DELIVERY MANAGER:
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a dedicated Resource Management role within a fast-paced software solutions or IT Professional Services environment.
Project Management: project cycle understanding.
Autonomy & Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of organizational skill, coupled with the ability to work autonomously and drive results.
Conflict & Problem Solving: Assertive and proven conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be diplomatic yet firm when necessary to prioritize business goals.
Agility: Demonstrated ability to confidently manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines simultaneously, prioritizing workload effectively across diverse groups and time zones.
Communication: Clear, concise, collaborative and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored to executive and operational audiences.
Customer Focus: A highly responsive and customer-focused approach to internal stakeholder management.
Knowledge (A Plus): Familiarity with the Professional Services sales cycle and project delivery methodologies.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years in experience.
