Snowflake is seeking an Educational Services Sales Manager dedicated to selling all aspects of our Educational Services offerings. Snowflake is looking for an individual who understands business trends impacting the Cloud industry and is passionate about helping enable customers to be successful.
Your responsibilities will include building and managing training programs for customers. This role will be focused on both bookings as well as driving revenue and implementing solutions to affect positive outcomes. To be successful, this individual will need to build key relationships with both the account teams and the professional services team.
The ideal candidate will possess an Education Sales background in the technology industry and be comfortable engaging with C-level customers. The candidate must also have experience building global training plans, presenting compelling presentations, and demonstrate the ability to think strategically. This role will report to the Manager of Customer Education Services for the assigned territory, but the individual must be a self-starter and take ownership to drive opportunities to quota attainment.
This is a remote position with up to 20% travel required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as a key member of the Education team to drive Snowflake’s training initiatives in the market
Lead from the Front: Be a key member of high-impact account teams as the education services expert to drive bookings growth and ensure seamless delivery
Collaborate with the Best: Work cross-functionally with Account Executives, Sales Engineering, Professional Services and industry experts to shape the future of cloud data education solutions
Own the entire Education Services lifecycle—from deal strategy and proposal creation to forecasting and execution

Meet or exceed bookings and revenue targets
Up to 25% dedicated to exhausting education revenue backlog - team effort
Proactively reach out to customers with paid training and work closely with Education operations related to scheduling of sold courses
Develop long term relationships and training plans for key accounts
Interact with prospects, partners, and internal team members to build a sales pipeline
Work in conjunction with professional services for the creation of a statement of work for custom engagements
Work with and report to the leader of Customer Education within your territory around contract negotiations, Sales, Marketing, and reporting.
Hands on experience working in CRM especially Salesforce with a deep understanding of sales stages, generating reports, and identifying customers who would benefit from education services
Provide bookings forecast and demonstrate strong command of your book of business
Expect up to 20% travel
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Background in Sales, Sales Customer Education
BA/BS degree and/or 5 years of experience in Education Sales
Exceptional verbal and written communication and project management skills, including the ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally, multitask, and handle competing priorities on concurrent projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment
Collaborate with cross functional teams to find opportunities, scope, propose and sell education services to both new and existing clients
Proven track record of meeting booking, revenue, and consumption (or similar) targets
Serve as the initial point of escalation for customer and project team
Relevant technical knowledge is helpful, such as database systems and fundamentals of cloud computing and virtualization with the ability to go deep enough on relevant technologies key to the industry
