The Snowflake marketing team is excited to bring on a Reviewer/Language Lead – from English into Korean to support the localization projects. The Reviewer/Language Lead is a function that will help scaling and bringing the Snowflake experience to the Korean market.

AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

• Review translations provided by translation vendor, ensuring quality is up to Snowflake’s standards and expectations.

• Work closely with respective Field Marketing Manager (FMM) to ensure translations are aligned with their expectations.

• Support internal stakeholders with any urgent translations or language-specific questions, as needed.

• Drive high quality output from localization vendor.

• Ensure on time delivery of reviews.

• Perform LQAs on sample projects, as needed.

• Own evaluation and management of existing linguistic assets (for example: glossaries and style guides), query management, and related.

• Manage quality data for your language.

• Take ownership of the incoming work for your language, and actively contributing to the success of Snowflake’s localization program.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH:

• University degree in Linguistics, Translation or related field.

• Experience in Language Lead role (> 3 years).

• 5+ years of prior localization industry experience, terminology management, quality control, and TM tools.

• Working on projects that involve language launches, creative content and/or subtitle localization.

• Working knowledge of industry standard localization tools is a plus.

• Scope and risk management to keep projects on track.

• Time and stakeholder management.

• Fluent in English (both written and spoken, in a wide range of registers).

• Knowledge of main CAT tools, and Language QA tools.

• Excellent understanding of Translation Memory tools and Translation Management Systems (TMS). Knowledge of Memsource/Phrase is a plus.

• Good understanding of Machine Translation (MT) engines and MT Post-editing.
