The Talent Specialist contributes to Tarsus’ success by supporting projects and programs that assess and develop individual and team capabilities and build a culture of continuous development. You’ll help drive business impact by ensuring the smooth delivery of innovative, engaging learning and development solutions designed to help a group of smart, driven people reach their full potential and grow.
Let’s talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role:
- Manage logistics for live training, events, and programs to ensure a seamless learner experience and maintain good internal and external relationships
- Create organization systems to ensure a smooth, trackable process and outcomes.
- Manage vendor invoices using the Contract Management System, ensuring procurement and payment process is followed for new and existing SOWs.
- Partner with vendors to get and provide information about courses, from registration through attendance.
- Create courses and sessions in LMS (mid 2026).
- Draft and send communication (emails, calendar invites) to various audiences to drive awareness and participation.
- Management pre- and post- session work, emails, and Tarsanet content management.
- Coordinate facilities, equipment, materials, and food following meeting/event planning SOPs.
- Flag low enrollments in a timely manner and recommend/execute on plans to drive participation or reschedule/cancel sessions.
- May administer 360 feedback, assessments, etc.
- May project-manage smaller programs, for example mentoring program.
- Measure training impact
- Create and administer course evaluations.
- Analyze and share results of surveys, training completions vs expected, and spend per/attendee on an ad hoc and scheduled basis.
- Flag issues and recommend changes to improve future sessions and programs.
- Participate in budget vs actual reconciliation and forecast.
- Partner with Director and EX specialist to use employee engagement data to measure impact of training and to identify additional needs or shifts.
- Participate in discovery, design, development, and delivery of training and other development modalities (late 2026)
- Conduct training needs assessment, consulting with managers and employees (via surveys, interviews or focus groups to identify skills gaps and determine the development needed.
- Develop and update training content, curricula, manuals, guides, and course materials (e.g., presentations, e-learning modules, videos).
- Recommend appropriate instructional methods and formats, such as classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, or blended learning.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content is relevant and engaging.
- Deliver training and other development modalities.
- Prepare talent management materials with direction (PPTs, assessments etc.)
- Manage talent management logistics with direction
- Participate in analysis and tracking of talent management programs, ramping up to full responsibility by 2027.
- Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices for learning and development.
Factors for Success:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline required
- 5 years relevant experience or 3 years plus master’s degree
- Collaboration and Team Building: Works well with others and actively contributes to team cohesion and effectiveness.
- Decision making: Demonstrates good judgment in problem solving and escalations
- Outcome driven, with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for details
- Analytical and able to tell a story with data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Eager, agile learner with an interest in talent development

At Tarsus, we understand the importance of attracting and retaining top talent. The expected base pay range for this position is $93,700 - $131,300 plus bonus, stock equity, and comprehensive benefits. The base pay range reflects the target range for this position, but individual pay will be determined by additional factors such as job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training.
