What you’ll Do:

Design Leadership

· Lead and mentor a small team of designers, providing guidance and constructive feedback.

· Drive the development and maintenance of design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability.

· Set design quality standards and foster a culture of creative problem-solving.

Product Delivery

· Guide early-stage concept development, shaping design directions based on business objectives and user insights.

· Support other designers through discovery and shaping phases, ensuring alignment on project goals.

· Deliver high-quality design assets for development, ensuring they are documented, consistent, and optimized for handoff.

Product Strategy & Vision

· Partner with stakeholders to refine product vision and strategy.

· Lead long-term design roadmaps that align with long-term product direction.

User-Centric Research & Insights

· Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to inform design decisions.

· Synthesize user feedback and market insights into actionable design solutions.

· Advocate for user-centred design principles throughout the product lifecycle.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, and growth teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business requirements.

· Facilitate design reviews and workshops, promoting shared understanding and alignment.

Data-Driven Design

· Use data and analytics to validate design decisions and measure impact.

Stakeholder Communication

· Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders, clearly articulating design rationale and user impact.

· Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners, acting as a trusted design advocate.

Process Improvement & Innovation

· Continuously seek opportunities to enhance design processes and team workflows.

· Stay informed about industry trends, tools, and best practices, integrating them into team culture.

The Ideal candidate will have:

· 3-5 years of experience in product design, including leadership or mentorship responsibilities.

· Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite).

· Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills.

· Experience in managing and mentoring designers is a plus.

Qualifications Required:

· Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Field of Study
