Position Title: Associate Software Engineer – Backend
Location: Bangalore, India
Experience Level: 0–1 Years (with internship experience preferred)
We are looking for an Associate Software Engineer – Backend to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about backend development, eager to learn, and open to working with different programming languages and modern frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Build, test, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Work with databases, caching, and messaging systems to deliver high-performance applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Stay current with backend technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related field.
- Strong foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Hands-on experience (academic or internship) in one or more backend programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, Node.js, or Scala.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and database systems (SQL/NoSQL).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Internship or project experience in backend or full-stack development is a plus.
