Life at UiPath

The people at UiPath believe in the transformative power of automation to change how the world works. We’re committed to creating category-leading enterprise software that unleashes that power.

To make that happen, we need people who are curious, self-propelled, generous, and genuine. People who love being part of a fast-moving, fast-thinking growth company. And people who care—about each other, about UiPath, and about our larger purpose.

Could that be you?

Your mission

As Technical Lead – Automation/AI Solutions, you’ll manage a talented team of Automation Developers, Architects, and DevOps Engineers while shaping the technical strategy and delivering scalable automation solutions. You’ll define development standards, ensure high-quality implementations, and drive innovation across the organization. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in UiPath automation, process improvement, and solution governance.

You'll be part of the UiPath Automation Center of Excellence (CoE), which is dedicated to driving automation across internal departments and customer-facing initiatives. CoE focuses on the discovery, development, and implementation of automation solutions that enhance business efficiency and serve as best practices for future customers, but also on collaboration with Product & Engineering (P&E) teams to enhance and evolve automation solutions, ensuring alignment with market needs and strategic goals.

What you'll do at UiPath

  1. Strategy and Technical Leadership

  • Lead the development, solution architecture and DevOps teams.

  • Ensure that technical standards, coding practices, and architectural patterns for automation across all business units are defined and maintained.

  • Partner with the CoE Lead, Business Analyst Lead and Program Managers to ensure the governance of the Implementation Roadmap.

  • Lead the team for adoption of AI/Agentic automation technologies.

    2. Delivery Oversight and Governance

  • Establish and enforce quality control measures, including peer reviews, test standards, and performance KPIs.

  • Oversee the end-to-end automation lifecycle.

  • Responsible for maintaining the compliance of Internal Audit controls’ requirements for SDLC.

  1. Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement

  • Promote best practices for automation governance, reusability, and documentation.

  • Track automation value metrics (e.g., hours saved, ROI, compliance rates) and prepare the relevant insights for business owners.

  • Identify and mitigate risks through proactive change management and technical resilience planning.

  • Drive a federated CoE model, enabling collaboration across departments while maintaining standardization.

  1. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Support Sales and Pre-Sales teams by providing technical expertise during customer engagements, demos, and solution design discussions to showcase automation value and feasibility.

  • Work closely with the P&E team to suggest improvements of core functionalities and validate new UiPath features.

What you'll bring to the team

  • 3+ years experience leading a functional team of individual contributors or proven experience mentoring and coaching peers in a leadership development opportunity.

  • 7+ years experience in a Software Engineering/Automation role or similar.

  • Proven experience leading technical teams or overseeing automation projects.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with business analysts, product managers, and other technical teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

  • Strong communication skills to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
