About The Role.

The SVP, Financial Products is a senior product leader responsible for shaping and driving the commercial strategy and product roadmap for Zilch’s core financial products. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer and sitting within the product organisation, this role owns portfolio-level P&L outcomes and ensures that product strategy delivers sustainable growth, strong unit economics, and excellent customer outcomes within a regulated environment.

This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of product strategy, commercial performance, and risk-aware decision-making. Zilch is the ideal environment for a fintech leader who thrives on aligning product investment to financial outcomes, using data and insight to guide prioritisation, and working cross-functionally to scale responsible, customer-centric financial products.

Day To Day Responsibilities.

  • Own and drive the strategic direction for Zilch’s financial product portfolio, shaping a multi-year roadmap aligned to company objectives, customer needs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Hold accountability for P&L performance, unit economics, and portfolio profitability; guide product prioritisation and investment decisions based on commercial impact.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Risk, Finance, and Commercial leaders to prioritise initiatives, sequence delivery, and balance growth, risk, and returns across the portfolio.
  • Oversee portfolio performance through clear KPIs, using data and insight to inform trade-offs, optimise product economics, and course-correct roadmap decisions.
  • Act as a senior leader within the product organisation, ensuring alignment, pace, and accountability across teams executing against the financial products roadmap.
  • Represent financial product strategy at executive level, contributing to broader company planning, investment discussions, and external stakeholder conversations where required.

We’re looking for.

  • Experienced senior product or commercial leader with ownership of financial products in a fintech or regulated financial services environment.
  • Proven track record of driving P&L performance, unit economics, and portfolio profitability through product strategy and prioritisation.
  • Strong understanding of regulated lending or payments products and the constraints and trade-offs that shape product roadmaps.
  • Highly effective cross-functional partner, able to influence without direct ownership of build teams.
  • Confident executive communicator with experience operating at C-suite and Board level.
